门家祥在事业蒙受挫折时，父亲门瑞带儿子小宝遭遇车祸，门瑞得知小宝不是门家孩子。于是妻子刘慧便带着小宝出走了。小宝的失踪，让门瑞发现他还是离不开小宝，妻子刘慧感激门家，决定要出人头地。可现实很残酷，弟弟门家柱一直惹事，妹妹门楣的明星梦也泡汤了，妻子刘慧因债款要自杀，所有压力降临在门家祥头上，由于门家祥的坚韧不拔，慢慢还清了债款。但刘慧却假想丈夫有了婚外恋，门家柱开始自我膨胀，门楣得了绝症，小宝的亲生父亲王天平也来到家门口，门家祥再次扛起了家庭的重担。由于门家祥无意间的许多善举，此时得到了众多意外的支持。这时企业也升门家祥为副总，刘慧怀上了门家祥的孩子。
继第一季好评之后，《玛利亚狂热》第二季也来袭，于2011年4月7日开播，并先于3月31日播出的Niconico动画直播节目《电波研究社》上，将先行披露歌曲PV的一部分。承接第一部的剧情，“百合女”宫前加奈子继续与同寝“伪娘”祇堂鞠也，以及同校的各色美少女们开演更加脸红心跳流鼻血的爱情喜剧！
