时隔7年，《Code Blue》系列再次回归，定档2017年暑期档。新垣结衣、山下智久、比嘉爱未、户田惠梨香、浅利阳介等原班人马将再次齐聚，本季度也将延续此剧的主题，继续为我们展现冲在救援最前线的直升机急救员们的工作、生活历程。 以直升机急救员为主题的电视剧非常少，本剧 的第一季已经播出就在日本引起了很大的社会效应。“直升机急救医院网”（HEM - Net）会长国松孝次表示，《Code Blue》使更多人知道了直升机急救员的存在，生动展现了医生和护士们奋战在生死一线的画面。2007年当时全国的急救直升机只有14架，而截至今年3月达到了50架，基本可以覆盖日本全国，这其中也一定有本剧的功劳。
